Education is paramount to the people of the Ba province and they have a target of $280,000 to collect in the 4 day Adi Salusalu Festival which will be held in Lautoka next month.
Chairman of the Ba Provincial Council Ratu Meli Saukuru said the education level of the children of Ba is seen to be below par from the rest of the provinces.
He said the people then decided to assist the students with their scholarships and allowances.
The Festival will kick off on the 27th of next month.
