The Province of Ba is expected to assist the eight families from the village of Navala in the interior of Ba whose houses were burned down by a fire last week.
Chairman of the Ba Province, Ratu Meli Saukuru said the families are now staying with relatives and have started rebuilding their houses however the province will assist with household items.
Ratu Meli said the village headmen from the 21 Tikinas within the province will collect the items from the respective districts.
