The proprietor of Dan's Fish and Chips Shop in Laucala Bay has chosen to remain quiet after his employees were robbed inside the USP compound on their way to bank the day's takings yesterday.
Dan Lobendahn said he would rather not make any comments on the matter as police investigations are continuing.
While police investigations are still underway, it is believed the vehicle with the robbers was parked at the USP car park when two of the Dan's Fish and Chips shop employees were on their way to the bank.
The robbers stopped the vehicle, grabbed the bags of cash and got away through the USP back gate.
The amount taken has not been established as yet.
