Nadi pastor Laione Lutunacevamaca and Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Bill Gavoka who are charged with allegedly making false news that fostered public alarm and public anxiety appeared in the Suva Magistrates court this morning.
The two men who are charged with one count of malicious act under the Public Order Act for allegedly circulating information about a so called prophecy of a disaster in Fiji.
Gavoka's lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo who also represented Lutunacevamaca asked the court for more time to look over the disclosures that were this morning given to him by the DPP's Office, before a plea can be taken.
The case is adjourned to the 5th of next month.
