Prominent singers, Freddy Kado and his wife Hanisi Maloney of the band Divine have lost everything after the house they were renting in, was completely destroyed by fire yesterday.
Kado who is a former member of Black Rose has lost thousands of dollars worth of items in the fire, including all their music equipment and sound systems.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita has confirmed that the 35 year old singer and his family rented the house which belongs to a 42 year old Businessman.
The Kado family was at home when the fire started. Police believe that the fire started from the ceiling of one of the bedrooms.
The damage is estimated at $250,000.
