Construction work at the Wainibuka subdivision where affordable lots will be made available for low to middle income earners, is expected to be fully completed by May 2010.
Housing Authority Chief Executive Alipate Naiorosui said the work had slowed down due to rainy weather, but work had again picked up momentum with the subdivision expected to be completed within the stipulated time.
Naiorosui said a total of 270 lots will be produced at the site.
The contract which commenced February this year will be completed at a cost of $6.7million through locally sourced funding.
