A number of programs are being carried out in Lami town in an effort to reduce crime.
Special Administrator for Suva and Lami, Marica Hallacy said while the Lami Town Council and the Fiji Police Force are doing its best to reduce the crime level, other community based committees have also been formed to look into ways for reducing crime.
Hallacy said the Lami Light Brigade is another community based committee that is actively assisting in reducing crime in Lami.
