Programs are in place to help people in rural areas.
The Agriculture Ministry Information Assistant, Umendra Pratap said that people needing agricultural assistance should visit their Divisional Agricultural Officer who will then liaise with the Ministry.
Pratap said that they have programs in place to help the people of Wailevu Village in Savusavu.
Pratap's comment comes after the Tui Wailevu, Ratu Kinijoji Maivalili called on the agricultural officers to tour their village and to help them.
