The Natural Waters of Viti Limited has filed proceedings against the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority to resume exports of Fiji Water.
The President of Fiji Water Operations, John Cochran said the dispute between Fiji Waters and FIRCA has caused exporters of Fiji Water to completely stop, which has affected the shipment of over 400 containers worth millions of dollars.
Cochran said they have complied with every request from FIRCA on a timely and complete basis, met with the company officials and other government officials in an attempt to resolve this matter however to no avail.
He said they have filed court proceedings seeking a resolution and hope that this action will assist towards an outcome so that Fiji Water exports continue.
