The extent of the damages of the PWD infrastructure in Ba runs into the millions and that is why restoring water supply will take long.
Those were the words of the Ba Water Supervisor Naresh Chandra who said they have not been able to restore the supply of water as the floods washed away pipelines.
Chandra said they are trying their best to get things back to normal.
Chandra added they have been carting water from as far as Tavua and Lautoka to ensure people have clean water to use.
