Australian based Fiji swimmer Carl Probert will compete in the Australia Olympic trial in Sydney today, hoping to qualify for his fifth consecutive Olympic Games.

Probert will compete in the 100 and 200 meters freestyle events. He missed out on qualification last year after pulling out from the Pacific Games swimming competition in Samoa.

Meanwhile Caroline Pickering Puamau, Rachel Ah Koy, Calum Liew and Sean Chow have withdrawn from the Olympic qualification process due to personal commitments, work and studies.
