With the national road network in tatters due to the flash floods, private contractors are now coming forward to try and assist the Ministry of Roads to repair and clear out roads around the country.
Director Roads Rapheal Smith confirmed to Fijivillage that even, NZ based Highway Stabilizers will join in the effort.
Smith stressed that their priority is to ensure there is access to all schools before Monday.
