The Prisons and Correctional Services were commended for their hard work which they have done well through the Yellow Ribbon project.
That was the comment from the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, Josefa Seruilagilagi who was the chief guest at the Prisons Excellence Awards.
Seruilagilagi said their effort is recognized through nation building and willingness to help others which is clearly seen through the lives of the inmates.
He adds with the Government's reforms, the inmates can also apply for job opportunities in the Government after serving their term in prison.
The Prison Inmates from the Medium and Minimum prison also sang Christmas Carols today.
