The children of prisoners around the country will have a reason to smile this Christmas, after officers from the Prisons Department received about 200 boxes of gifts today as part of the "Angels in Fiji" initiative.
The Initiative organised by Post Fiji Limited has been running since early November and saw many members of the public handing over gifts that will be given to these children.
Post Fiji Manager Public Relations, Merelita Isimeli said the gifts which were handed out today, were collected from the 57 Post Fiji outlets around the country.
Head of the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Services, Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua today collected the gifts from Post Fiji.
