Prisoner Josefa Baleiloa is still in the Intensive Care Unit at the CWM Hospital.
General Manager CWM, Dr Eloni Tora said while Baileiloa can now cope without the ventilator he's condition is still critical at this stage.
Tora confirms Baileiloa that though Baleiloa is not fully conscious there are little signs of improvement.
Baileiloa was allegedly beaten up by Police Officers who had apprehended him in Cunningham, after he escaped from the Naboro Maximum Prison last month.
An investigation is still underway into the matter.
