The Education Ministry has called on the Principals and teachers to assist in motivating students to be better citizens of the country.

Ministries Deputy Secretary Professional, Rokobua Naiyaga was the chief guest at the 104th Fiji Principal's Association Conference which started at Ba's Xavier College Auditorium yesterday.

Naiyaga touched on very crucial issues on education in Fiji including students academic performances, truancy and empowering features to fulfill their duties and called on all stakeholders to work together.

Meanwhile, Principals association's president, Brij Deo Swarup called on principals present to show greater understanding towards human behavior and to empower teachers to be more understanding and pro-active.

He urged the leaders present at the conference to motivate and inspire students to get desired results. The conference ends later today.
