The Fiji Primary Schools inter district netball tournament kicked off this morning with mixed results.

Favorites Suva found the going tough in some of their first pool matches.

The Suva White under 9 side lost to Nadi 1-0 while the Suva Gold side drew 1-all with Nadroga.

In the under 10, Suva Gold lost to Yasawa 3-1 and in the under 14 Suva White drew 6-all with Nadroga.

In the under 9 results, Northland beat Macuata 3-1, Highlanders defeated Nasinu Blue 2-1.

In the under 10, Highlanders thrashed Namosi Hurricanes 11-0, Nadi beat Nasinu Blue 12-3 and Cakaudrove lost 1-nil to Ra.

In the under 11, Macuata thumped Ba 8-nil, Nasinu beat Highlanders 4-1, Yasawa thrashed Namosi 13-1 and Beqa beat Northland 6-3.

In the under 12, Suva White beat Nadroga 8-3, Yasawa lost to Highlanders 5-3, Macuata hammered Naitasiri South 19-4 and Ra beat Rewa 14-0.

In the under 13, Nadi beat Highlanders 11-7, Taveuni pipped Ra 10-9 and Ra lost 11-5 to Lautoka.

In the under 14, Ra edged Lautoka 10-9, Suva Blue beat Koro 6-0, Macuata defeated Namosi 11-4 and Northland beat Naitasiri South 5-3.
