About 2394 players from 20 districts will compete in six grades for the Primary School=s Inter district netball tournament which will kick off tomorrow in Suva.
Districts like Taveuni, Macuata, Ovalau, Nasinu, Suva, Tavua, Vatukoula and Nadi will be part of the three day tournament.
This will also be the first time the tournament will run under the newly formed Fiji Primary school netball association.
Primary school netball President, Susana Liga says Suva will be fielding 3 teams per grade while Nasinu will have two teams in each grade.
Liga adds Kadavu and Bua have withdrawn from the tournament.
Nadi are the defending under 10 and 14 champions, Suva are the reigning under 11 and 13 champs while Northland are the current under 9 trophy holders and Lautoka the defending under 12 champions.
The official opening will be held at 6pm today where the new logo for the association will be revealed at the FASANOC head office in Suva.
