Primary Schools Netball tournament to go ahead as scheduled

The Digicel Punjas Primary Schools Netball tournament will go ahead as scheduled at 12pm today.

Primary Schools Netball President Elenoa Vadei confirms that the opening ceremony will be at 11 this morning but they are still deciding on whether to have the march.

20 districts will be participating in the tournament this year.

Vadei says they are optimistic about the weather and the Fiji Sports Council has confirmed that the courts are safe for the 3 day competition.

The Primary Schools Netball tournament will be held at the National Netball Center and LICI courts in Suva.

The Nadi Weather Office confirms that we will continue to experience bad weather until tomorrow.
