Twenty students, all the way from Ovalau are living their dream as they were given the chance to travel to New Zealand to be part of a cultural exchange programme.

Speaking to Fijivillage News, Selina Kuruleca, one of the organizers of the cultural exchange program said the program, which started in 2003 saw students from Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand come and spend two weeks in Bureta, Ovalau where they had firsthand experience in village life.

Meanwhile, Kuruleca said it is a big experience for the 20 class 8 students from Bureta District School as they have never travelled out of the country let alone come to the capital city.
