Good news for people this Christmas as fuel and gas prices have significantly dropped which will come into effect from tomorrow.
While announcing the new prices, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this follows the price drop in crude oil internationally.
The new price of fuel which will come into effect tomorrow sees Unleaded drop from $2.57 to $2.37 a litre, Diesel drops from $2.26 to $2.08 a litre, Premix drops from $2.48 to $2.24 a litre and Kerosene is reduced by 15c a litre which drops from $1.78 to $1.63 a litre.
The price of a 4.5kg LPG gas is reduced from $16.67 to $15.48, the price of a 12kg cylinder LPG gas is reduced from $44.64 to $41.48, bulk LPG is reduced from $2.98 to $2.27 and Auto Gas is reduced from $2.09 to $1.96.
