There is some relief for consumers as there are slight decrease in the price of diesel and kerosene effective from tomorrow.

The prices and incomes board has announced that the price of diesel will decrease by 1 cent and will cost $1.77 per liter while the price of kerosene decreases by 3 cents and will cost $1.43 per liter from tomorrow.

The price of motor spirit and premix outboard fuel remains unchanged.

The PIB said this is attributed to falling demand due to winter temperatures retreating from unusually low levels in Europe and a stronger US dollar and downward corrections in the equity market also contributed to the decline in world market prices.

Consumers are advised that prices will differ in various centers due to additional delivery and cartage charges.
