The Fiji Chamber of Commerce said the Major price reductions on basic food items is a reasonable move as it will generate better money flow for the economy.
President Peter Masey said the price reductions under the price control by the Commerce Commission will have a good effect on the business sector as consumers will have more money to spend and there will be better money flow.
Masey said the have been set after fair research by the Commission.
Meanwhile, Fijivillage caught up with people shopping in Suva today on what they think of the move.
