The price of drenching drugs that arrived into the country last week has increased.

The Director for Animal Health and Production Division at the Agriculture Ministry said that the Fenbendazole drug that drenches out worms situated in a sheep or goat's intestine will now cost $22.80 per litre, compared to the old price of $15.30 per litre while Levi-care drug will cost $32.00 per litre.

Shiu Chand said that there were factors involved in the price increase.
