In ensuring better use of and return on State assets, the government has decided that the Presidential Bure's in Taunovo and Tavakubu in Lautoka will be made available to the public.
Public Service Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand said they have decided that the Bures be made available on a time share basis to interested members of the public.
He said this initiative is in line with the reforms currently underway.
Chand adds expressions of interest are invited from those who wish to purchase time share for short term stays up to seven days over the 11 months of the year when these properties are not required for use by the President.
The deadline for expressions of interest to be submitted is February 27th.
