The President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be at the forefront of the culmination of months of excitement when the A330 aircraft arrives home next week.  

The head of state left for Hong Kong after accepting a call to officiate at the A330 welcome reception that will kick-start there on Monday.

The President, together with Air Pacific executives, will then accompany the aircraft on its maiden journey home on Monday evening and will be chief guest at the welcome reception at the Nadi International Airport.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and his Cabinet Ministers together with other guests will await the President’s arrival that will begin the festivities here.  

The aircraft will carry the Fiji Airways new logo although as a business Air Pacific will start using this moniker after June.
