Fiji's President Ratu Josefa Iloilo will arrive into the country tonight after his annual medical check-up in Australia.

The Tui Vuda left our shores two weeks ago and was accompanied by his wife and permanent secretary.

Traditional spoke-person, Ratu Tevita Momoedonu said that the vanua of Vuda is happy that his excellency is back in the country as they are also expected to meet with him.

Ratu Josefa's arrival could see Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama announcing his new interim cabinet next week as he has to inform him first of the changes.

The new 14 member cabinet was slashed from 17 and is expected to be announced next week.
