President Ratu Josefa Iloilo will be giving an official address this hour, as the country comes together to celebrate Fiji Day and to commemorate 37 years of independence.
The theme for this years Fiji Day is "Moving Forward Together to Build a Better Fiji".
As Fiji Day will be celebrated today at four major centers, the Fiji Police Medal and Fiji Police Long Service Medal, will also be handed out to the deserving officers.
Fiji Day will be celebrated at Albert Park in Suva, Subrail Park in Labasa, Nasau Park in Levuka and Churchill Park in Lautoka.
