President should also be investigated on abuse of NLTB office-Qarase
Laisenia Qarase said, if Ratu Epeli Ganilau and Colonel Kurusiga want to investigate him regarding certain allegations relating to the Native Land Trust board, then the President should also be part of the investigation as he is the Chairperson.
However, Colonel Apakuki Kurusiga said their investigation and report was based on the paper and evidence NLTB officials gave to them regarding the setting up of the Vanua Development Cooperation and Pacific Connex owned by Ballu Khan and Qarase's statement in the report.
He said Qarase cannot deny the fact that everything is in black and white and the team will still pursue further investigations.
Colonel Kurusiga has also revealed that the President was not present at the meeting which endorsed the setting up of the NLTB business arm and adds Ratu Josefa Iloilo will not be investigated.
