The President said locally based Medica Pacific South Pacific Limited will enable quick supply of medical supplies immediately after a National disaster.
During the official opening today, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau said the company has up skilled our labour force in diagnostic and laboratory services which traditionally had been a government responsibility.
He said it is a fully locally based company and has provided a major boost to the local labour market and marks another milestone achievement by a local company.
Meanwhile, Ratu Epeli acknowledged Medica Pacific New Zealand Limited for closely collaborating and had partnership to provide assistance towards the establishment of the company and for the faith and confidence to invest in the local company.
Medica Pacific South Pacific was incorporated on 8th May 2008.
