President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has raised concern over a birthday celebration that took place on the field after the final of Battle of the Giants between Ba and Lautoka last week.
Ratu Epeli raised this issue to FASANOC during the Team Fiji I-Tatau ceremony this morning and said it is disrespectful and should be stopped.
Ba’s back-to-back Battle of the Giants title win was celebrated on the pitch after the grand final with left back Meli Codro cutting his birthday cake.
Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association CEO Bob Kumar said they respect the comments made by the President and will seriously look into this issue.
