The Fiji Society for the Blind has been commended by President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau for changing lives of visually impaired children and individuals.
While opening an Open Day, organised by Fiji Parent Support Group with the assistance of the Fiji Society for the Blind, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau highlighted how lives have been made easy for disabled persons.
Ratu Epeli said students who attended Fiji Society for the Blind are successful in their lives.
Meanwhile, one of the students of the School , Mika who has been in the hostel since he was five years and has partial blindness said that this is an eye-opener for the students.
The school was established in 1970.
