The former Supervisor of Elections Semesa Karavaki said there are no legal means for the National Council for Building a Better Fiji to change the electoral systems without re-calling parliament.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Karavaki said the resolutions of the NCBBF to change the electoral system is infringing on the Constitution.
According to Karavaki, the NCBBF is using the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo. Karavaki also stressed that even the President must remain within the law.
Karavaki told Fijivillage that he was willing to take back his former post as Supervisor of Elections and he would ensure the country goes to the polls by December this year.
