Prepare well for last FJC
In a statement Minister Filipe Bole said it would be great to see schools farewell this examination with a 100% pass and more importantly, an increase in quality passes.
While in Gau last week, the Minister was assured by the Form 4 students of Gau Secondary School that they will achieve a 100% pass in their FJC.
Bole said this self-confidence expressed by the Form 4 students of Gau Secondary should motivate all Form 4s around country to revise well and seek teachers’ assistance before exams begin on November 2nd.
And in light of the upcoming external examinations, Bole is encouraging students and teachers at upper secondary level to work together and strive for quality marks.
Bole said gone are the days when a pass is just enough, and what students must strive for now is to attain more than 250 marks out of 400 B that is a pass in English plus the best 3 subjects.
The Minister added that 250 is the minimum qualification mark into university studies and one must realise that this will require one to work extra hard.
With the limited time left before examinations begin, Bole said there is no time for laxity and complacency.
The FJC is scheduled for November 2nd to 11th, FSFE from November 8th to 19th while the FSLC from November 16th to 29th.
