Markets around Fiji which rely heavily on the products from the Sigatoka Valley will have to be prepared for a shortage of supply.
Former Interim Minister Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi who hails from Waya Village on the banks of the Sigatoka River said the damage done by the floods to the farms is unbelievable.
Vayeshnoi said to the farmers the only things that matter to them at the moment is to put food on the table for their families.
