As the festive season has just ended please ensure you are now prepared for the cyclone season which we are currently in.
With the Nadi Weather Office saying that there is a likelihood of around eight to nine cyclones hitting Fiji in the next three months, DISMAC Principal Officer for Cyclone Preparation Patiliai Dobui said precautionary members are a must to prevent damage or injury during these times.
Nadi Weather Officer Director Rajendra Prasad said our cyclone season is from November to April, however from November, Fiji has not been affected by a cyclone as yet therefore increasing the likelihood of cyclones forming from now to March.
