The Electoral Commission is currently meeting with officials of the Elections office as preparations for the next general elections are underway.
Commission Chairman, M.K. Khan confirms they had a successful Elections Workshop at Nobel House yesterday however he refused to reveal the recommendations that were given by the participants who were mainly civil servants.
Khan stressed yesterday that changes to the Electoral Act is necessary to have a free and fair election.
Khan is expected to reveal more about the meeting with the Deputy Supervisor of Elections later this afternoon.
