The Methodist Church in Fiji has issued a message to all its pastors and members of the church to have a month of fasting and prayer session for God's intervention in helping the current interim government to have elections in March next year.

General Secretary Reverend Ame Tugawe had confirmed that the decision was made by the working committee to hold the prayer session which will start from next Monday and will end on the 31st of this month.

Church members have been urged to pray for the current administration to lead the country in a way that will see the quick return to democracy and also for the General Election to take place in March 2009.
