As government remains tightlipped on why Suva City Council and Lami Town Council special administrator Vijendra Prakash was sacked, Prakash said he will not pursue the matter further.
When asked whether he was told in the termination letter why he has been told to vacate the office, Vijendra Prakash said it is a personal issue and he respects the decision.
Meanwhile, government spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni said he will be able to give more information on the operations of the council tomorrow and remains tightlipped on why Prakash was sacked from the council saying it is an internal matter.
Prakash received the termination letter on Wednesday.
He took office as SCC and Lami Town Council administrator on 12th February this year.
