That's the sentiment of the Fijian Teachers Association who has called on the Interim government to also deduct the interim ministers' pay by 5 percent, like any other civil servant.
Union President Tevita Koroi said while the civil servants earning less had a pay cut interim ministers who earn much more did not have their pay deducted.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Public Employees Union has also raised concern.
Union General Secretary Pita Delana said this is unfair and a discriminatory move.
