A call has been made to all those people sheltering at evacuation centres to please practice hygiene as the country is still experiencing an outbreak of typhoid cases.

Ministry liason office, Iliesa Tora said that Health inspectors have been out to the various evacuation centres around the country and have noted that there are a huge number of people in one small area and this may see a spread of water borne diseases.

Tora said for these people to boil all drinking water before drinking as they have noted that a few people have started drinking grog.
