These are the words of Raiwaqa Catholic Parish Council Secretary, Kelemede Rusunavanua who said there still is a need to help the victims of the floods as its effects are still being felt today.
Rusunavanua said members of the Catholic Church yesterday donated whatever they could in terms of clothing and other items to DISMAC as this is also part of the Catholic teachings, to share what you have with those who are in need.
The Catholic Church Head, Archbishop Petero Mataca had earlier made a plea to all parishes to donate what they could and help the victims of the severe floods experienced in the country earlier this month.
