Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has named a strong squad to play in the Hong Kong 7s tournament this weekend.

Ryan has named Jasa Veremalua, Pio Tuwai, Semi Kunatani, Isake Katonibau, Apisai Domolailai, Jerry Tuwai, Amenoni Nasilasila, Vatemo Ravouvou, Osea Kolinisau (captain), Savenaca Rawaca,  Kitione Taliga and Masivesi Dakuwaqa.

Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Josua Vici were not considered for the Hong Kong tournament.

Meanwhile Fiji and other big teams will not have an easy road going into the Cup quarterfinals of the Hong Kong 7s.

New Zealand will face Samoa, France and Kenya in Pool A where the French team will be welcoming back Virimi Vakatawa.

South Africa will also be tested in Pool B with England, Scotland and the ever improving Russian side.

Australia head Pool C against USA, Argentina and Portugal.

Ben Ryan believes their pool will also be tough with Canada and Wales showing improvements in the last few legs.

Fiji will take on Canada at 12.06am this Saturday in their first pool match.

They will play their second pool game against Korea at 4.24pm Saturday before they face Wales at 8.24pm Saturday in their last pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 2.58pm Sunday, the Cup semifinals start at 7.44pm Sunday while the Cup final kicks off at 11pm Sunday.
