A powerful 30 member Maori All Blacks squad has been named for the test match against the Vodafone Flying Fijians on 11th July in Suva.

The forwards include Hurricanes loose forward, Blade Thomson, Crusaders hooker, Codie Taylor, Chiefs player, Charlie Ngatai and Hurricanes backs, Chris Smylie, Matt Proctor and Nehe Milner‑Skudder.

Joe Webber, Kurt Baker, Martin McKenzie and Robbie Robinson are also in the squad.

It will be the first time in seven years that the Maori All Blacks have played Fiji.

The Maori All Blacks will also play the NZ Barbarians on July 18th.

The Maori All Blacks last played Fiji in the Pacific Nations Cup in 2008, winning 11‑7 in Lautoka.
