As a result of the damages due to Cyclone Mick, power supply to most areas in Viti Levu has been shut down.

The Fiji Electricity Authority revealed that for the whole of the Western Division from Rakirki to Sigatoka and most areas in the Central Division, power has been shut down.

The Authority revealed that the Wailoa Hydro Power Station has been shut down due to the rising water level in the Wailoa river.

All repair work is expected to start at first light.
