The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that as a result of power blackout at the Wainibuku Reservoir, the Tovata and Khalsa pumps are not working at the moment.
As a result of this blackout, water cuts will be experienced by residents in Tovata, Tuirara, Makoi, Naveiwakau, Tacirua East, Valelevu, Newtown, Caubati, Savutalele, Nadera, Kinoya and Kalabu Housing.
Residents living along the Suva-Nausori corridor, Tailevu South, Rewa Delta, Delainavesi, Lami and Veisari are to fill water now if there is still some water in their taps.
