The Fiji Electricity Authority has restored power supply at 9.30 this morning after the power blackout from last night due to a technical problem in the main lines from Monasavu.
FEA General Manager Hasmukh Patel confirmed that FEA engineers have fixed the problem.
However, there is some concern as residents in the western division and parts of Suva called us up saying they had water and power supply and are questioning why it was said that the whole of Viti Levu had no power which resulted in the closure of all the schools in Viti Levu today.
