Gospel High School sprinter Aaron Powell is hoping to win the blue ribbon event at this year’s Coca Cola Games.
Last year, Powell lost to Marist Brothers High School’s Apolosi Ratumudu in the intermediate boy’s 100 metres final.
Last week, it had been confirmed that Ratumudu failed to qualify for the 100 metres event.
Powell still believes he has to work hard on his endurance and finishing to win the Senior Boy’s 100 metres final.
Also Gospel High School girl’s sprinter Younis Bese is looking to win her 100 and 200 metres events.
The Coca Cola games will be held on the 24th and 25th of this month at the ANZ Stadium.
