The Permanent Secretary for Public Service has stressed that the post of Deputy Supervisor of Elections will be advertised.
With the PSC recently coming under fire with allegations of underhand tactics in making the appointment, Taina Tagicakibau stresses that the appointment of Former Principal Information Officer Soro Toutou is only in an acting capacity as Deputy Supervisor of Elections.
After coming under heavy criticism for making the appointment, Tagicakibau said the issue has been blown out of proportion.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Officers Commission continues to interview suitable candidates for the vacant post of Supervisor of elections which is expected to be filled by February.
