The 34 year old woman whose body was found in her flat in Howell Road yesterday died from strangulation.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed they have received the post mortem report of the woman last night and are treating the case as murder.
Sokomuri said the partner discovered the body in the kitchen yesterday after the woman did not answer his calls.
Sokomuri said officers from the Forensics Department were trying to gather evidence till late last night.
No one has been taken in for questioning as yet.
